Better Mac Script than Textual?

Hi guys
I'm using a Mac and currently operate chat with Textual which is basic and doesn't have the bells and whistles like PNP for example.  I saw there is a kind of PNP - Powershell- now for Mac OS but looks too advanced for me to install it by my ditsy self.  Any kind volunteers to take me through it step by step?

Are you sure Powershell is a IRC Client? Powershell usually compares to something like the Mac OS X Terminal and is used for executing various things for the OS. I can be totally mistaking on this one, would have to check on my Mac then.

What kind of bells and whistles do you want your client to have?

Thanks for quick reply and I could be talking through my *proverbial ass*. 
I googled PNP for Mac OS and it came up ... yes I do have to use the terminal app .. that's where I abandoned ship and didn't read any further

The thing that made me want to upgrade is the UNO room:
when I am playing its hard for me to see the cards I have been dealt. 
I have it set up as a notification which flashes too quickly where as in Windows Scripts they are all visible in same screen not as a notification.

If you could help me sort out that problem I'm having I don't really need any more bells and whistles and can stick with Textual.

Ah yes, I've seen some of them require installation via Terminal - sorry, wasn't aware of that.

Is Powershell the app name for the IRC client?

Scarecrow you are very good to help (and nice to meet you by the way) but most of what I read went whoosh over my head thats why I ended up here .  I think I'll keep with Textual and try and edit the css itself for notifications etc.
