DrToronto & "sex chat"

There is currently a troll who often goes by the nick DrToronto (but also uses other nicks), to private chatters and request cybersex or invite them to join in a 3-some with ____ (usually another chatter's nickname).  This guy is just a sex troll. Sometimes he privates and appears to be a chanop (recently he has been using the nick "DeviIish" (deviiish)), and asking if DrToronto has privated them for sex chat.  If you get a message like this or get harassed in this manner, you can use the report command (in the topic of many of our rooms) or /join #help to report him there.  We are working on how best to deal with this annoying person.

If you ever need to double-check if it is an actual channel or network operator privating you, a quick way to check is to type /whois nickname.  Chanops will have "Chanop" after the @, and Ircops will have "ircop" in theirs, like this:

@Devilish.chanop.icq-chat.com
@TNTease.ircop.icq-chat.com

This is something only an admin can set so a regular chatter will not have the same info.  You can also /join #help and ask there. Any ChanOp on-duty should be sitting in #help and opped there (with @), and any available ircop or botop should also be able to verify for you.
